The aftermath …

Welp, it’s been a long day of driving and I can say I’m pretty shocked at how well the car took the beating. Tarmac suspension NOT dirt friendly. I had to raise the car an addition 1” in the front at lunch time but made a HUGE difference in the afternoon runs. The surface was very rutty which made it pretty insane when at speeds. This gravel stuff is a lot harder then tarmac as I got to find out. The morning runs were just trash off the start but the afternoon proved to be a whole new ground. Unfortunetly I had to travel as a one man team today so I don’t have any pics at the moment. The car was a bit of a hit with everyone else there so I’ll be searching the interwebz for pics.

Casualties of the day; Passenger Fenderliner, front license plate. Not all that bad.

I know we promised movies but we will shortly put together some nice shakedown practice videos. For now the car needs some TLC and my next purchase will be gravel suspension. We will not be doing anything on dirt until I have that!!! We have less than a month to get ready for the June event and we’re pushing very hard to get there but it’s looking very slim as there is just way to much left on the car to do (money as well). It seems the list just never stops growing!!! If we fail in making the June event, there are options for an August, September and October showing as well. It’s like seeing the finish line …… we just need to cross it!
